HEB Performance Hall Rules
To ensure the safety of all patrons and guests, HEB Performance Hall has created the following code of conduct and policy guidelines. Please review and follow the rules and policies below as failure to abide by them may result in expulsion from the venue without refund.

Accessibility Policy
The Tobin Center for the Performing Arts is compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act. They have a variety of resources available to make your visit more enjoyable. Assisted Listening Devices are available at Patron Services as you enter for an H-E-B Performance Hall event to the right. There is no charge for the device, but an ID is required to be held at Patron Services until the device is returned.
Arrival Policy
Showtimes start promptly at the time listed on your ticket. If a guest arrives late, they may be asked to wait in the lobby until an appropriate break period or during intermission. For certain shows, there may be no intermission period. To avoid frustration, please make sure you arrive no later than 30 minutes before the shows ticketed start time.
Bag Policy
Large bags are not allowed in the venue. All bags (camera bags, purses, backpacks, etc) are subject to search upon entering HEB Performance Hall.
Please have your bag ready for search before entering entrance doors to accelerate the process.
Camera Policy
Cameras are not allowed in the theatre without prior written consent. If a specific show or event allows cameras, then it will be detailed in the event or program guide.
Cancellation Policy
If an event is canceled due to inclement weather or artist cancellation, then ticket holders will be informed as soon as possible through media and the website. Please contact the venue at 210-223-8624 to ask about refunds or postponements.
Coat Check Policy
The Tobin Center for the Performing Arts provides a complimentary coat check at Patron Services.
Food and Beverage Policy
The Tobin Center for the Performing Arts has food and beverage available for purchase at each performance. For this reason, outside food and beverage are not permitted.
All concessions purchased at the facility will be permitted inside the venues unless requested by the performer(s) that concessions not be permitted.
Lost and Found
Lost and found items are turned in to the House and Volunteer Services Manager at the end of every performance. During the performances, items are held at Patron Services located to the East of the front entrance. To inquire about a lost item, please contact the House Manager at 210-507-5649
HEB Performance Hall does not claim responsibility for lost or missing items.
Prohibited Items
The following items are not allowed inside the theatre.
- Alcoholic beverages
- Backpacks or any bag larger than 12″ x 12″ x 12″
- Balloons and beach balls
- Coolers
- Drones or any type of radio-controlled flying device
- Fireworks
- Folding chairs
- Glass or can containers
- Grills
- Illegal drugs and substances
- Noisemakers or horns
- Umbrellas
- Weapons of any kind
- Any items which pose a safety hazard or can diminish the enjoyment of the event by other guests.

Re-Entry Policy
For most performances, you are permitted to leave and return to The Tobin Center. Before exiting you must have your ticket scanned out so you may return. Please speak with one of the ticket takers at the front doors to exit. If you do not have your ticket scanned out, you may not be permitted to return.
Smoking Policy
The Tobin Center for the Performing Arts does not allow smoking of any kind inside the facility including the use of e-cigarettes or vaporizers. Please exit the front doors to smoke. Re-entry will be permitted following the re-entry policies stated above.
Tickets for Children Policy
All persons regardless of age must have a ticket to enter the Tobin Center for the Performing Arts.
